I qualified in 1986 and have over 13 years experience in neurology. The majority of this time has been working with people with an acquired brain injury while they have been an in-patient on a rehabilitation unit, attending hospital as an outpatient, or in their own home/community. I have managed an Occupational Therapy service in a rehabilitation hospital which included an inpatient and outpatient brain injury service. Further qualifications include a BSc in 1994, NEBSM management certificate in 1998 and I have recently completed an MBA. I have been on both the National and East of Scotland committees for the National Association of Neurological Occupational Therapists. |
