Qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1991 from the College of Ripon
and York, St. John with wide experience in both the NHS and independent sector. Most of my
experience is in the field of acquired brain injuries, in both residential settings and in
community environments specifically implementing rehabilitation programmes. I have also worked
with people with orthopaedic, medical and other neurological conditions, and in a medium secure
hospital with people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. I have also recently
moved into case management in a community head injuries team. I have been a Programme Manager
for reach since 1997, during which time I have helped to develop the role of the Programme
Manager.
