Dr Feldman has had a distinguished international career as a clinical psychologist in clinical and academic positions of authority at the Universities of London, Birmingham, Hawaii, Jerusalem and Leeds. He has also held senior NHS positions in Manchester and Leeds. From 1992 to 1995 he was co-ordinator of the renowned Leeds Head Injury Team, directly funded by the Department of Health, which carried out a trial of the effectiveness of home-based rehabilitation as part of a national study. The author of ten books, Dr Feldman is particularly interested in the application of behaviour therapies to rehabilitation, applying established behavioural principles to a range of home-based rehabilitation programmes to treat cognitive, behavioural and emotional problems in adults and children following both accidents and stresses at work. |
